Anonymity

I hate this word. Anonymity on the web is the single worse thing about the internet. People can flame and move on. People can spout hate and move on. People can spew misogyny and move on. No accountability. No serious confrontation. No debate. No fear. Actually more cowardice than anything. If you have something to say sign yo’ name. Don’t be a punk. If you hate black folks and think they should go back to the field or just die--don’t be an anonymous sissy prick, sign yo’ name. If you hate women and think they should go back to the kitchen--don’t be an anonymous a-hole, sign yo’ name. If you think Christians are in favor with God and the rest of the 5 billion people on earth will burn in eternal hellfire--don’t be a anonymous wimp, sign yo’ name. If you think all illegal immigrants are parasites on the good ol’ U. S of A—don’t be an anonymous nancyboy, sign yo’ name. There are too many of you out there who write pages and pages of garbage and then sign it “anonymous.” What the hell? You are weak. You are worthless. You are stain on the dirty dishrag of the America. I’m sick of it. Don’t flame someone (happens on those inane “forum” threads on certain news sites) and then don’t have the cajones to but your name with your words.

It's also a good think. It allow people to vent with out the consequences. I rather someone say mean thing online than to perform the action in real life. However the double edge sword is that they COULD be inciting people TO perform the actions...
